Cruise Along The Scenic 17-Mile Drive On The Monterey Peninsula

Just getting to Pebble Beach is an attraction all on its own. Travel along the 17- Mile Drive on the Carmel coast by car or bike, which is one of the best-known scenic drives in the world. Tourists come from all over to capture the visuals of the stretch that runs along the Pacific Coast from Pacific Grove down to Pebble Beach. Famous for the magnificent coastline and Del Monte Forest, the journey offers jaw-dropping scenery along the way.
At the end of the journey, you'll arrive at the Lodge at Pebble Beach, where visitors can play golf where the pros play, enjoy a game of tennis, hit the stores for great shopping, or enjoy a delicious meal at one of the casual or fine dining restaurants. During the 17-mile drive to Pebble Beach, you can expect to catch glimpses of the seaside wildlife enjoying the views as well. Motorcycles are prohibited and even though the drive is just 17 miles, travelers should allow 3-5 hours to allocate time for stops, sightseeing, and taking pictures.

The entrance fee into Pebble Beach Resorts and 17-Mile Drive is $11.75 per vehicle. The gate fee is reimbursed with a purchase of $35 or more at all Pebble Beach Resorts restaurants. 
Activities cost extra once at the beach resort.
Those on bicycles can enter for free, but motorcycles are not allowed.
