Celebrate the 9th Annual Christmas on the Wharf, a free holiday tradition on Monterey’s historic waterfront. Enjoy festive décor including a 23-foot Christmas tree, illuminated sea creatures, and holiday lights throughout the Wharf. Weekend performances from December 5–21 feature choirs, youth dancers, singers, and special holiday shows, along with free Santa visits and photo opportunities at Santa’s Wharf House.
Each weekend also brings seasonal treats like hot cocoa, cider, cookies, and sweets from Wharf shops. Highlights include the Brighten the Harbor Lighted Boat Parade on Sunday, December 7, plus holiday shopping, dining, whale watching, and more along the waterfront. This family-friendly celebration is one of Monterey’s favorite holiday traditions.
