Just a fond advice to vacuum a bit more. The best hotel we’ve been to in a while 1000/10. I love the Bath and shower combo for the luxury suite. Will recommend to anyone who visits Monterey Bay

Great place to stay. Rooms are very spacious qnd is centrally located.

Been twice. It's been great both times. It's just the right amount of fancy, nothing too crazy. The beds are on the firm side with a little bit of loft on the top. Our only complaint is that their TVs are first generation flat screens. Yes, I know you're in Monterey, and that you should go outside and enjoy everything. But after a long day of walking around the city sometimes you just wanna chill and finish an episode or two of something you and your other are watching together before you go to sleep. Bring a Firestick or a Roku. Get the suite, It has a small yard for the doggos.

A very beautiful place in Monterey with beautiful rooms laid out like little houses.

wonderful and central location. staff was amazing and incredibly helpful. breakfast was a usual continental breakfast. rooms were very spacious. the hotel is open and has a through way between streets which makes it feel like a part of the street and not separate, but great location with trolley and bus stops right outside. would stay here again

This was one of my best hotel experiences. I didn't have a reservation and took a chance. I'm so glad I did! From the era on at the desk to the rest of the staff, top-notch service. The room was spotless and the bed was dreamy. The fireplace just topped the experience off! Will definitely be back to spend multiple days! Oh yeah, being able to walk everywhere I wanted...bonus! Thank you! ♥️

Good room size.. facilities need upgrade over all.. service friendly and cozy atmosphere..

I was lucky and got the last room here on busy Memorial Day weekend :) I really enjoyed my stay here. Staff was very friendly and responsive to my concerns, particularly Ana and Aman! The room was very cozy and felt like home. Mine was just above a quiet street and sitting with a book by a roaring fireplace and on a balcony was exactly what I needed to recharge. The location was perfect for me, close to the marina and beach and only 4 minutes to Cannery Row by car. Old Monterey has some neat cafés and shops all around too. Breakfast was very complete! It varied the two days I was there, with items like muffins, bagels, cereal, yogurt, eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes... And coffee, juices, and teas. It was better than I expected after reading a couple of reviews here. Also, there are bikes that you can rent on-site at the hotel with a card. Helmets and locks are provided in the lobby, but I did not have time to try them :) Convenient to be able to grab these right from the hotel. Hopefully I will try them next time! Only small thing I might note is that the room was not totally soundproof and that might be an issue for some. I noticed a bit late that my window was slightly open. Once I closed it, there was a bit less noise, but something to note if you really need quiet. Hope to be back again soon! Loved my stay here and big shoutout to the whole staff.
